Crossed My Mind

Ever wondered if someone out there is thinking about you?

Now you can find out when. You'll never find out who.

Every thought comes from a real person. None are ever made up.

How many of your people would you want on it with you?

We keep your email and these two answers, nothing else, and use them only to send your invite. To come off the list, message @xmymindapp on Instagram.

You think of people more often than you tell them.

A "thinking of you" text is a small thing that asks for a lot. It starts a conversation, and the other person has to find something to say back. So most of the time the thought just passes.

Crossed My Mind is the smallest way to let it land. They find out someone thought of them, and they don't owe anyone a reply.

An ordinary afternoon. Someone thought of you.

For the people who live far away.

Your mom, your sister, the best friend who moved across the country. One tap when they cross your mind, and it reaches them sometime in their day.

For when you don't know what to say.

A friend is having a hard month, or it has been two years since you talked. You don't have the words, and you don't want to make them answer.

  1. Someone you know picks your name.

That's the whole message: you crossed their mind.

  2. It reaches you later, at a random moment.

Inside the hours you choose, and never the second they sent it.

  3. A day later it's gone.

No history to scroll and nothing to keep up with.

No names. No replies. No streaks. A thought asks for nothing back.

A keychain that buzzes when you cross someone's mind.

We're also building a small gadget for your keys. When someone thinks of you, it buzzes once, at a random moment, and the cloud on its screen wakes up.

You won't need it to use the app. These are concept images: the first prototype is being built by hand right now, and it isn't for sale.
